Rehoming Rats and Supplies

Description

Very difficult listing for me to make but I am looking for the perfect home(s) for my 7 babies. A family member has fallen very ill and I am the only one who is able to care for them at this time, it is intensive and my rats have not been getting the attention that they used to and that they deserve. I am rehoming them with all supplies- large cage pictured, smaller ferret cage, travel cages. Food, toys, playpen panels, dig boxes, whatever other miscellaneous supplies and medicine I have that’s left over. Even more than is pictured. I am asking $300 for everything but this is highly negotiable to the perfect home(s). All of the rats besides Aries and Mars are housed together in the large cage. I will include the ages and history of everyone below. Tennyson - age unknown, probably approx 1 yr. Neutered male, very sweet but he is a newer rescue who is working on tolerating handling. Absolutely loves pets and scratches. Templeton- approx 6 mo. Neutered female. Is bonded with Tennyson. Extremely intelligent and kind-hearted, absolutely loves being scritched in exchange for treats. Ramona- approx 2.5-3yrs. Has had one mammary tumor removal earlier this year and unfortunately has developed a slow growing one near her hind leg. Vet assessment has been that another surgery is riskier than it’s worth and she just needs comfort care until passing. Sweetest rat I have ever owned, loves people and very affectionate. Wednesday- approx 2 yrs. Also had a mammary tumor removal this year. Unfortunately she has also developed 2 more on her underside. Vet assessment has been that another surgery is riskier than it’s worth and she just needs comfort care until passing. Very playful and affectionate, she loves crawling up legs and hanging out on your shoulder. Goudi Girl/ GiGi- approx 2. years. Mother to Aries and Mars. Super sweet girl, she is the first one to greet you at the cage door and absolutely loves giving kisses anywhere she can. No substantial medical history or problems Aries/Mars- Very long story short- a wild rat infiltrated their room and impregnated Goudi in April of this year. The boys are currently un-neutered and housed separately from everyone else. They are not like your typical domesticated rats- they require a lot of stimulation and someone who is very adept at rat-proofing. Very sweet and love pets/affection, but unfortunately the time I have had to spend away caring for my family member has made them regress on their toleration of handling. I will require a very rat-savvy home for them and am willing to part with them separately from the others if need be. Please message me with any further questions that you may have about the babies or any of the supplies that come with them. Texting is preferred. It breaks my heart to do this, especially because of my girls that may be nearing end of life anytime soon. Thank you for your consideration.
