Presented by the Black Men United Coalition: The Brotherhood & Sisterhood (BMUC), this two-day event will be hosted by award-winning poet Mr. Moody Black, and will provide a platform to honor, and converse with some of Greenville’s most influential community leaders. At the banquet on August 26th, honorees will include Efia Nwanganza, who will be receiving the BMUC Community Legend Award, as well as Councilwoman Lillian Brock Flemming, Community Activist Mary Duckett, and Dr. John H. Corbitt, just to name a few. The conference the next day will include a panel of community leaders such as Community Activist Ma’ta Crawford, Pastor Tony Boyce, Bruce Wilson, Wendell Jones, and more, and provide many opportunities for attendees to network and collaborate. The Tribal Gathering Banquet will be held at the elegant Hyatt Regency, located in the heart of Downtown Greenville. The Tribal Gathering Conference will be held at the illustrious Greenville Convention Center, one of the largest venues in the Southeast.
