Our Los Angeles Area Campus is hosting an Open House where you can get the information to decide if hands-on aviation career-oriented training is right for you. What should you expect at our Open House on campus event ? Applying to college can be stressful for prospective students. Whether it is applying to college for the first time or deciding to go back to school, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology invites all to attend our Open House on Thursday, July 21st. Our Open House event guides prospective students in deciding on the right program for them, along with talking through the best practices for successful training. Information will be available from the admissions, financial aid, and career services teams. Spartan College Los Angeles Area Campus offers training for entry-level careers in Aviation Maintenance. Welcome + Tour Meet people in the aviation industry. Get to know instructors and meet other prospective students. Located in Inglewood near LAX Airport. The campus can accommodate approximately 500 students. Classrooms occupy in excess of 19,000 square feet and labs occupy an area of 40,000 square feet. Spartan College features an array of industry relevant training aids that include, but are not limited to: Reciprocating and turbine powerplantsVariety of carburetors, magnetos, turbochargers, and propellers Sheet metal shop containing brakes and shears Press and pneumatic drill Riveting equipmentShops used for the study of wood, fabric, fiberglass, plexiglass and composites Aircraft electricity labAdditional equipment used to study aircraft navigation, flight and communication instruments.
