Legacy Cares is teaming up with the Endurance Team at Legacy Sports USA to get in the Christmas spirit by hosting a family-friendly Santa Run/Walk 5k at Bell Bank Park! The Santa Run 5K will include a Toddler Trot, so bring out the entire family for a day of fitness and festivities! Following the run/walk, the holiday fun continues at Championship Field with food, a DJ, kids activities, crafts, and vendors for some last minute Christmas shopping. All registration fees and donations help support the mission of Legacy Cares as we engage and empower underprivileged and at-risk youth through our various program areas and sponsorship fund. EVENT SCHEDULE 7:00 AM - Race Packets Available & Vendors Begin Set-Up 7:50 AM - Racers Line Up at Starting Line 8:00 AM - Race & Holiday Festival Begins 8:45 AM - Race Ends & Award Ceremonies Begin 12:30 PM - Event Ends RACE DETAILS The race will begin and end at the Championship Soccer Field. The course map can be viewed here: Legacy Cares | Santa Run 5K Course Map. This is a fast and flat course encompassing all of Bell Bank Park with terrain including pavement, dirt, grass, sidewalks, and turf. Please wear appropriate footwear for these conditions. All participants will receive t-shirts and medals; Runners 21+ will receive a coupon for a free beer or seltzer. Awards will be given to the overall top 3 finishers, top 3 in men's, and top 3 in women's. Time will be provided by RacePlace. Toddler Trot will be 1/4 mile long on Championship Field. Children under 10 run in the Toddler Trot or Santa Run 5K free of charge. VENDORS Vendor Village will begin set-up at 7AM on Championship Field.
