POSITION SUMMARY: The Mitigation Department at Pacific Rim serves residential homes and/or light commercial facilities that experience a property loss caused by water, sewage, mold, or fire. For each customer’s loss, the Mitigation Field Team executes the mitigation, dry out, and/or demolition prep work needed prior to the restoration of a customer’s property. Mitigation Leads (MLs) are the senior members of the Mitigation Field Team. Each ML is assigned to directly oversee and train a Mitigation Technician (MT) in an assigned company vehicle. Working as a team, the Technician and Lead will review the day’s project assignments with the Mitigation Field Supervisor (MFS). Daily tasks include reviewing project inspection reports, sketches, and photos to determine the mitigation plan for the home / building and executing mitigation visits to effectively mitigate, dry out and prep the loss site for restoration services. The lead oversees the use of the company vehicle ensuring and delegating the restocking and cleaning of the vehicle to the technician. The lead is main point of contact for the customer in confirming appointments and in discussing work efforts while onsite. The lead is also for daily documenting project progress and timely escalating any severe issues to the MFS.
