Description

We just need a bass player for our mid 60's-mid 70's tribute band. Should be a person who actually likes this era of wildly diverse music, who likes a lot of variety in music from back in the days when bands didn't all sound alike and there was always something new and fresh happening. We are looking to capture the Groovy Vibes of the day and spread them around to all those who love the 60-70's music. The music will cover a broad spectrum of the most amazing era of music ever. Rock-Pop-Soul-Motown-1 hit wonders and anything else that was part of that magical era. Our goal is to bring Joy to the World with Satisfaction Eight Days a Week while we're Groovin on our Magic Carpet Ride so Build Me Up Buttercup because your My Girl, Sweet Caroline Just Reach Out I'll Be There Sugar Pie Honey Bunch and you know I Ain't Too Proud to Beg and there Ain't No Mountain High Enough, so Come and Get Your Love and Be My Baby, we don't care if your Poppa Was a Rollin Stone we can be still Happy Together 8 days a week Elenore. We don't care if you take the Magic Bus or the Last Train to Clarksville we just need Help to Sing a Simple Song, you can show up Like a Rolling Stone even if you bring your friend Jumpin Jack Flash and we'll be Dancing in the Street when you get here. If you read thru that and understand it you should probably give us a call,we have a secure, climate controlled rehearsal space. Most of the gigs would be in the warmer months, concert style venues in parks, fairs, car shows, carnivals, culture events, class reunions etc. We also have some connections for other things as well. Rehearsal is on Tues night. We would prefer someone within a reasonable distance of the Oley/Fleetwood area just as a matter of logostics. We do this first and foremost because we love to play music but we are not looking to make this a job or a career and do not plan on playing more than 2-3 a month. So far current members are 60's+ but any age considered as long as you have a love for this era of music. So hop on the bus Gus,join a new band Stan
