DETROIT — Two people were killed and another was in critical condition after a Thursday afternoon Detroit shooting in the area of E. Larned and Orleans streets, Detroit Police Chief James White said. Police said at about 1:40 p.m., someone inside a black Jeep Cherokee fired multiple shots into a burgundy Ford, fatally striking two people and critically injuring another. A fourth person in the car was not struck and was being interviewed by police, officials said. Police did not release the victims' names, but said they're all men in their early 20s. Police have not made an arrest in the shooting and did not reveal a motive. Police were still investigating the area, which is just blocks away from Campus Martius Park in Downtown Detroit.
