Seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee all warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate ensures accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction with all orders. Air Force Filter specializes in the wholesale distribution of air filters as well as other facility maintenance and HVAC equipment. The company has a very active business operation and a diverse portfolio of customers. The Warehouse Associate provides quality products and the highest level of customer service to our clientele. BENEFITS: - Medical (after 60 days) - Dental (after 60 days) - Paid Holidays (after 90 days) - 2 Weeks Paid Vacation (after 1 year) Job Duties: • Facilitates a healthy business ecosystem with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and accuracy of work. • The Warehouse Associate pulls all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. • The Warehouse Associate receives all incoming product and oversees inventory. • Stocks and organizes the warehouse. • The Warehouse Associate pulls orders for deliveries and services. • Assists in completion of general department workflow as directed by senior leadership of the organization. • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all incoming and outgoing freight, including, but not limited to prioritizing, managing, preparing, and scheduling same day deliveries, FedEx ground, and palletized freight. • Calls all customers receiving shipments to notify departure of shipment and ensure no additional items are needed. • Conducts frequent counts on product to ensure adequate stock levels • Provides will-call assistance for all walk-in customers, including, but not limited to fast customer service, order input, pulling orders, and ensuring customer signature on paperwork. • Prioritizes and prepares orders called in for will-call pick up. This task should be conducted throughout the day to create a consistent flow, and prevent wait times at the will-call. • The Warehouse Associate drives company vehicles when necessary. • Updates customer contact and order information. • Confers with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, or purchasing. • Takes directive and facilitates the objectives of the business and senior leadership. • Facilities a positive and motivated work environment. Qualification & Education Requirements: • Experience in warehouse and distribution is preferred. • Experience in HVAC or building equipment is preferred. • Must have a driver’s license in good standing. • Experience in a small business environment is desired. • Strong work ethic is required • Strong attention to detail is required. • An entrepreneurial / business-oriented mindset is desired. • Experiences with logistics, efficiency, and continuous improvement are strongly desired. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. • Must be problem resolution oriented. • Strong customer service and relationship building skills are desired. • Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the day and lift, pull, push and carry at least 50lbs. • Must be punctual and meet timelines. • Must be able to work in a variety of environments, i.e. hot, cold, illuminated and/or dark. • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively. • Must be able to plan, direct and coordinate work flow.
