Electrical Project Manager Description: Our Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the direction of all assigned projects. Overseeing assigned projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction. - Analyze and compile estimate data that impact the cost of labor, materials, equipment requirements, location and other factors to ensure a high quality and timely estimate. - Review drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions; record findings and solicit input from field operations to include in final project estimate. - Discuss and analyze alternative solutions and construction methods with field supervision and owner to increase competitiveness of the bid. - Perform accurate quantity "take-offs" to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates using both estimating software and printed plan sets -Communicate estimate bid information to field operations at pre-construction meetings to ensure understanding of scope of job. Preferred Qualifications: The ability to problem solve and work efficiently in a team environment At least 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial / mixed use construction. Field experience coordinating with construction management. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contracts. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio. Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written. Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills Capable of managing multiple employees and multiple jobs along with scheduling, submittals, purchasing and change order management.
