Good try, but weapons have changed since the 1700's and the number of people owning the most dangerous weapons has skyrocketed. The number of people using these kinds of weapons is alarming. People's mouths haven't changed much since the amendments were written, but the mouths don't cause the deaths. It's the guns, so you can try and draw comparisons wherever you like, and quote as many famous people as you like, but too many kids are getting killed by semi-automatic weapons and the people don't like it. People Power is what rules nations, not dictators like Putin and Kim and dictator wannabes like Trumprick. When the people speak, the rulers have to listen, and these deaths are going to result in restrictions on the manufacture and sale of such dangerous weapons. Not once have I heard a Democrat say that the government is going to take away your guns. You are the ones spreading the lies that are causing all of the paranoia. When society finally has had enough and has heard enough lies and superstitious flim flam, the politicians will realize that they will not be re-elected if they don't shit and get off the pot. Gun owners do not rule the USA. The people do.
