Musicians for relaxed band formation

Hello, my name is Nick. I’m newish to the West Branch area and I would like an artistic musical outlet to keep ideas rolling and new songs creative. I’ve been writing my own compositions for years now, both digitally and manually, and I would really like to start collaborating with someone, male or female, who can sing well and write their own melodies. I have also been in a number of different bands over the years, mostly in my hometown of Cleveland and mostly playing bass. If you can help progress the songs and collaborate on writing, that would be great, just to keep things fresh, but not necessary. I haven’t written a song in a specific genre for a while now, but as I get older I seem to favor songs with fluid movement and strong emotional overtones (I’m 34 btw). I think if I can get a talented vocalist and we do this right, as in focusing on writing and not getting bogged down in creating a specific sound, it can be solid, powerful music. If it is good enough I would be willing to play out, get the appropriate software and all that. Eventually it would be great to have a full band, but lets start small and realistic. Another important note is that I can’t make this a full time thing, and I would expect you to have a day job as well. I do, however, have no problem committing a significant amount of time after work and on weekends to a good project. If you’re interested please email me. Thank you.
