OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING Opening: Heavy Equipment Operator City: Anchorage, AK WHO THEY ARE: #1 Trailer Dealership in Alaska since 1999. WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Begin each workday with a positive attitude and strive to meet daily and weekly goals. • Must be experienced in Operating Heavy Equipment. • Run diagnostic work on forklifts and tractors. • Move trailers around the yard using Heavy Equipment • Drive from job site to yard to pick up and drop off equipment • Work to develop a sense of "team" in the service department and across other departments. • Complete tasks based on priority in a timely and effective manner. • Assemble trailers start to finish, to include all final sale preparations. • Track all time building and assembling trailers with appropriate forms. • Check in/out equipment, trailers, and appropriately label status of equipment. • Maintain organization and appearance of sales and service lots. • Conduct customer hook up procedures thoroughly and accurately while enhancing customer relations. • Ensure cleanliness of all trailers, equipment, and company grounds. • Prepare items and equipment for offsite trade shows • Organize and maintain trailer components and add on parts while maintaining an accurate count • Be prepared to conduct work or tasks on a short notice or as needed basis. • Maintain quality control on work performed during shift including the "green tag" process. • Coordinate warranty work needed for unsold trailers with the Service Writer. • Maintain an orderly and clean work area. Assist in keeping the entire store and shop clean and orderly. • Work with integrity, always upholding company values. • Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU: Medical, Dental, & Vision 401k Costco Card $21-$23/hourly to start WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: • Work a normal 40 hours per week, and longer hours as required to meet customer demands. • Able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. • Attention to detail and safety oriented in all aspects of the job. • Must have good organizational, multitasking, and reasonable mechanical and computer skills.
