We currently have a full time position available for Construction Landscape Lead Worker. The Lead Worker position will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction crew work, efficiently and ensure the job stays on schedule. This position must have a broad working knowledge of landscape installation disciplines and must be able to perform all the positions being supervised. Additionally, the Lead Worker will be held accountable for filling the foreman’s role in his absence. Management may assign other functions not listed herein at its sole discretion. -Run 5-10 team members -Read and understand irrigation and landscape plans -Operate or have some knowledge of landscape equipment -Layout irrigation systems with knowledge of PVC sizing and fittings -Layouts and installs of trees and plants When filling in for the Foreman: -Responsible for crews production rates, quality control and safety -Ordering of materials -Installation of required materials per plans and specifications for landscape and irrigation projects -Responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance of equipment -Complete daily timesheets and job site reports -Coordination of equipment deliveries -Notify office of any accidents and submit accident reports -Conduct weekly safety tailgate meetings -Daily interaction with project site superintendent -Ensure that all company and job specific safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment, are followed -Training of new crew members, assessing strengths, and mentoring.
