Do you love working outside? Do you love the water? Do you love boating? We are looking to add a customer-focused team member to our dock staff! Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club, and we are looking for someone who has the below qualities to join our team! The dock staff are responsible for creating a positive member experience when the members arrive to the dock. We ask that the dock staff give the members the “Red Carpet Treatment” when possible, to create the ultimate member experience. This involves ensuring the boat is ready upon their arrival and assisting in any way that can make their trip more pleasurable and hassle free. Each member of the dock staff is responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and behavior. The dock staff are to treat each club member with utmost respect and should reflect the clubs core values. We are offering Full-Time and Part-Time positions, and require availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: o Must possess strong communication and customer service skills o Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role including bending, kneeling, balancing, and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds o Has a positive, cooperative attitude with a teamwork mentality o Capable of working unsupervised o Manage the check-in and check-out process using a handheld tablet o Perform equipment checks to make sure all necessary equipment is on board o Clean and maintain vessels and Club Location according to company standards o Daily clerical work to prepare reservation logs, fuel logs and weather reports o Knowledge of local waterways is a plus! o Staff may be assigned additional tasks as needed to create the ultimate member experience or maintaining the fleet to the highest of standards.
