POSITION SUMMARY: OCDC is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to facilitate the distribution of goods and materials throughout OCDC locations in Oregon. This position is responsible for physical shipping, receiving, warehouse maintenance and distribution of goods and materials. RESPONSIBILITIES • Unloads trucks, inspects shipments for damages, ensures accuracy of orders received. • Processes appropriate documentation to support the accurate and timely payment of invoices. • Ensures the appropriate packaging of goods and materials to prevent in-transit damage. Prepares shipping labels, maintains shipping documentation, and contacts shippers for pick up services. • Manages physical storage of goods and materials in a manner consistent with safe industrial practices, in a well-organized manner. • Operates an electric pallet jack to move inventory. • Maintains a neat, clean and orderly warehouse environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: • Acceptable driving record by OCDC standards and DOT standards.
