Join our team at West Rail Construction! Railroad Construction/Maintenance! No experience required, we will train you! Our general laborer position consists of many tasks that require substantial physical exertion. There is a lot of repetitious bending-over required. Standard tools that our laborers use are spike mauls, shovels, and pry bars. Power tools consist of track drills, spiking gun, tie tampers, and rail saws. Standard work uniform consists of hard hat, safety glasses, work boots with steal toe, and safety vest. West Rail Construction will provide the hard hats, safety vest and safety glasses. Some jobs require overnight stays, in which case you will be compensated each night you stay. Requirements: • Pass pre-employment Drug Screening • Can lift 75lbs • Have own steel toed safety boots • Valid State Driver's License • Reliable Phone • Your own Transportation • Criminal Background Check • Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, polices and site specific safety plans.
