Warehouse Assistant Needed (Gardena, CA) Compensation:$20- $25/hr (depending on certifications/ experience) Employment type: full-time Brazilian Lumber is a company located in Los Angeles that specializes in distributing hardwoods and outdoor decking materials. We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced warehouse assistant to join our team. Duties - Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping and receiving merchandise and maintaining the warehouse. - Load and unload pallets of hardwood - Drive a Forklift - Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately - Package and bundle orders - Count and inventory different types of wood - Strong Organization Skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be an independent worker IDEAL candidate will: - Have experience driving a forklift - Have experience with hardwood - Work experience in the lumberyard industry - Have experience loading and unloading containers. - Valid Driver’s License - Help with inventory counts Please let us know your previous job experience, certifications, and technical skills.
