We are offering this class to begin on Monday thru Friday for a duration of six weeks. The PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN program at Always Health Institute is designed to teach students the basic skills necessary for employment as a patient care technician. A qualified patient care technician is capable of performing a wide range of duties, with a variety of technical detail. The students will learn how to perform EKG, how to perform phlebotomy and patient care skills under the supervision of registered nurses. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible for National Certification Exams through National Health Association to be a Certified Patient Care Technician / Assistant, Certified EKG Technician, and Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
