As drug overdose deaths surge across the nation and here in the Pacific Northwest, many people are feeling the impact. Whether you have first-hand experience, or know someone who is addicted or who lost their life to an overdose, the consequences of illegal drug use are widespread. KUOW’s Anna Boiko-Weyrauch has reported extensively on the overdose crisis and what it means for public health in our region. Join Anna and a panel of health experts Wednesday, August 3 for a community discussion. We’ll explore what’s being done in our communities to address the surge in overdoses and resources available for the individuals and families impacted. We’ll also talk about what is working and what is not as we build towards solutions. RSVP for this free event and Share your questions and feedback.
