Area workforce, talent, and economic development leaders are excited to invite you the Workforce & Talent Workshop on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at Stuart's Opera House! This interactive workshop is designed to allow attendees to better understand current pitfalls and challenges around workforce recruitment and retention as well as skill development with a focus on solutions, programs, and opportunities to guide leaders to attract and retain a strong, committed workforce for the Appalachian region. This event is free to businesses from Athens, Meigs, and Perry counties area thanks to the generous partnership of Area 14 Workforce Development Board, OhioSE, Athens County Economic Development Center, Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, and Innovation Center and is provided though Business Outreach Funding. We ask businesses to register and send no more than 2 representatives from their business to ensure access to others.
