Women's Self-Defense Class - Saturday, July 23rd, 9:30-11am in Newburyport! Learn the most common types of attacks women face and how to defend against them. You will leave with practical self-defense techniques you can use immediately including basic blocking, striking, situational awareness, and how to not look like a potential target. Appropriate for all adult women across the lifespan regardless of fitness ability. Techniques are informed by martial arts, but this is not a karate class. Safe and fun learning experience at a local yoga studio. You will be asked to remove your shoes, please contact us if that's a problem.
Cost is by donation. $15 suggested. Proceeds will be donated to the Pettengill House.
