The second annual tea-dance celebration fundraiser for Hamptons Pride, Inc., the local nonprofit that brought you the first Pride parade in the history of the Hamptons in June. This limited ticket, outdoor event includes wine, beer, cider, soft drinks and light bites with DJ Karin Ward spinning right over the spot deejays spun a generation ago at Club Swamp. Special appearances, a silent auction, and historic fun! Ticket sales benefit the 100% volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, and the only locally based LGBTQ+ organization on the East End. All money raised will stay here for activities and programs for East End LGBTQ+ people and their allies. And we hope that one day that will mean everyone! Our founding goal is the creation and maintenance of a world-class historical marker and social area in honor of the East End's LGBTQ+ people and their allies right on the footprint of Club Swamp, where we will be dancing again. Hamptons Pride, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that celebrates and commemorates the LGBTQ+ populations on the East End of Long Island. Established by locals for the benefit of locals, the organization's founding goal is the creation of an historical marker and social area on the footprint of The Swamp (the last and longest-running gay club in the Hamptons) in what is now Wainscott Green, a park in the Town of East Hampton.
