Why do electric vehicles piss off Trumpers?

Every item that Trumpers view as a symbol of liberalism pisses off Trumpers. Why would any person get irked because another person wanted to drive an EV? Other things that seem top piss off Trumpers for no genuine reason: Recycling, reducing air pollution, organic farming, water conservation, protecting wildlife, to name a few. Trumpers are so caught up in proving the they are "anti liberal" than the are willing to resist ideas that benefit every human including themselves and their families. If liberals announced their adoration form sunglasses, Trumpers would start cutting off their own noses to improve the the would never wear them. Trumpers try to resist all things that they see as "opposition to Trump". If pizza (americas favorite food) was somehow dubbed a "liberal food", Trumpers would not only stop eating it. They would try to convince the rest of the world not to eat it. This is a sheep/flock mentality.
