Carpool Kickball Summer 2022: Important season start schedule change (Game 1 is now on June 30) FAQ Can I still come to Carpool Herndon on Thursday June 23rd? Yes, Carpool will be open and will be hosting some light social games for registered Carpool Kickball players. Can my team meet on the fields and practice on June 23rd? Yes, in fact we are considering the idea of having a “for fun” practice scrimmage game for those players that are interested in a pick up game. Be on the lookout for more info on that soon. Do I still get my 15% discount at Carpool starting this week on game days (Thursdays)? Yes, please come into Carpool on Thursday and meet other players and other teams. We will continue to host some light social games for registered Carpool Kickball players. Does this mean the overall schedule will be shortened? No, we are going to do everything we can to play the entire 8 weeks with accommodations for potential weather impacts. While our goal is to be a social league, actual kickball playing time is important to us all. What about rain delays or cancellations? A little rain won’t stop us from having a good time, but lightning or field closures obviously will. We will push to get as much kickball game time in as we can. Will game time schedules be changed during the season? No, we have heard feedback that other leagues sometimes change their game times and locations minutes before players are supposed to be at the field. Carpool Kickball will always be Thursdays at 6:30 and/or 7:15 start times on the cricket fields at Lake Fairfax Park. Weather permitting. What can I do to help? We are always looking for new players and teams. If you work for a company that might want to sponsor a team, or even a few single players that are looking for a good time and meet some really great people, bring them to Carpool on game nights!
