Becca Bowers, MA, PLPC of Deeply Rooted Counseling Services will lead us in a discussion about Body Image and how Neutral Affirmations can be the bridge to self-healing.
Affirmations serve as a way to bridge the gap between negative body image and positive body image. Sometimes we can't jump right into being positive, we need to start slowly and work our way into the practice of seeing ourselves without judgement and hopefully move into a positive body image.
We will practice a few different ways that people can practice affirmations at home either in the mirror or with a partner/friend.
