Please join us on Wednesday, August 31st as we host a dinner to launch the Ahmad AlYasin Public Policy Fellowship for university students of Texas law enforcement.
The dinner will include HPD's Chief Troy Finner, FBI's Assistant Special-Agent-In-Charge Christopher Raia, Harris County DA Kim Ogg, Commissioner Jack Cagle, and many more.
About the Fellowship:
Ahmad AlYasin, a strong supporter of law enforcement, will join hands with Minaret Foundation to host a yearly two-semester fellowship for university students in their Junior or Senior year, with a career focus in public policy and service.
Exclusively available to the children of Texas law enforcement, this fellowship will provide a hands-on and complete experience in the areas of child welfare, food insecurity, or religious freedom policy.
About Minaret Foundation:
Minaret Foundation’s mission is to leverage our faith beliefs to change the world around us through multi-faith and civic engagement. Our vision is to see a world where our faith communities seek each other’s help to create change as the norm, instead of the exception.
