The workshop will be held at Cottonseed Creative Exchange in the heartbeat of downtown Aurora, IL on Thursday August 19, 2022 from 6:30-8pm CST. Come early to shop with one of kind products made by local artisans! Class Details The workshop will be 1.5 hours long with individual, one on one instruction. In this class we will review: • What is brush Lettering • What is modern calligraphy • What tools are needed • How to use a brush pen • What are lettering guidelines • The basic strokes • How to letter lower and uppercase alphabet • Connecting letters • Word practice Supplies All supplies will be provided and yours to keep! Supplies include: • Lettering workbook • Brush Pen • Paper • Tracing paper Additional Details • Feel free to bring a light drink and snack • Masks are options For Your Safety If you haven’t been feeling well or have been around family/friends that are sick or covid positive, please be courteous and stay home. About the Instructor Enjoli is local Artist to Aurora, IL and has been professional lettering artist for over 5 years. She started her lettering journey by using lettering as a tool to work through her anxiety and depression. Now Enjoli’s offers lettering workshops to share her lettering expertise to teach others the art of brush lettering, calligraphy, and hand lettering.
