The Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center at Prairie View A&M University is hosting an Open House for the Texas Child & Family Study Project on Tuesday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cotton Belt Building. It is located at 1517 W. Front St. Suite 305 Tyler, TX. 75702. A brief program will begin at 11:30 a.m. The public is welcome! Fifty backpacks filled with school supplies for elementary-aged children will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Lunch will also be provided.
