Join us Thursday nights from 6pm - 8pm during the month of July, for our Gelatin Printing Workshop with Sarah Sheffield; Artist and Creator of Mosaic Designs. Gelatin printing is a form of monoprinting, in which a gelatin slab is used as a printing `plate’ in combination with standard water-soluble paints, to create images, textures, patterns and stencils are used to make multiple layers within a single print. The application of this technique is endless!! Final prints can be used in a variety of ways. The process is extremely simple, versatile and addictive! It is equally well suited for professional or novice printmakers, craft enthusiasts, professional artists, and children. No specific artistic ability is required to enjoy this exploratory, creative process!
