Looking for individuals interested in starting or continuing a career in Concrete Cutting. This is a specialty trade that we are willing to train people in. There are very few concrete cutters around and there is a high demand for them. We are one of the largest concrete cutting companies in Sarasota/Bradenton area and continue to grow. We have more work than people that can do the work. We are looking for experienced along with people who would like to learn the trade of a concrete helper who can work well with others and follow directions. Must be self motivated and can show up to on time everyday ready to work. We are willing to train on the job and promote from within. We are seeking full-time workers to maintain our busy schedule. Ideal candidates will have one year of construction experience and a good driving record. However, willing to train the right candidates. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have a positive attitude and be punctual for work. The perfect candidate must like working with their hands, getting dirty and be self-motivated. Position Responsibilities include: Showing up to work on time Working with others to pull concrete that is cut Learning to cut concrete Core drilling Hauling debris to the dumpster Cleaning up every day prior to leaving the job Make sure equipment stays full of gas and check oil in power unit Have a clean driving record (a plus but not mandatory) Requirements: Operate small equipment and tools safely Pick up tools and put them back on the truck at the end of the day Work for an entire shift Lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Extremely punctual and reliable Willing to work some weekends and overtime when necessary. Must be dependable, show up on time ready to work everyday, and willing to give 100%. Must have hard hat, steel toe boots and jeans or work pants and a shirt with sleeves. Will be given company shirts upon hiring and showing that you are going to show up everyday. You will work 40+ hours a week and be paid weekly on Friday for the previous work week which runs Wednesday thru Tuesday.
