This conference is used to highlight the uncertainties and challenges affecting Harm Reduction the South in this post pandemic era. This year’s conference is centered on the ideas of Restructuring, Optimizing, Recentering, and Empowering. Restructuring strategies and systems to meet post covid needs, Optimizing our resourcefulness to fill in the gaps, Recentering our approach to be most effective and relevant to the changing demands, and Empowering our communities through wholesome services. Our conference includes a diverse group of people, ranging from service providers to researchers, public health officials to legislators, drug users and their lived experiences, policymakers, and college students. We look forward to having you in person or virtually to gather together some of the most innovative minds in Harm Reduction, including those who serve and work in the sector on a daily basis, those with current experiences, and those who are new to Harm Reduction.
