Water-mixable oils might be the perfect balance for you. These are real oil paints that can be mixed with water, mediums or natural oils. If you work in a space without good ventilation or are sensitive to solvent thinners and turpentine, water mixable oils can give you a fume-free oil painting experience! This course covers materials, beginner basics and oil painting methods. About the instructor: Lauren Adams Lauren Adams is a southern artist and native of rural, middle Georgia. She has explored and experimented with painting and drawing most of her life. Inspired by her southern roots and the natural world, her work runs the gamut from figurative, to landscape and beyond.
