United Way Women United is hosting our Refresh A Classroom to help teachers at Richardson Early Learning Center (Kansas City Public Schools) prepare to welcome students back to school. Volunteers will assist with classroom setup tasks like hanging bulletin board materials, cleaning and getting supplies ready for students.  Women United is seeking 30 volunteers. This event is open to Women United Members and their colleagues, supervised older children (13+) and friends. Refresh A Classroom is a fun way to support both teachers and students - we anticipate volunteer spots will fill quickly so be sure to RSVP soon. Please consider bringing packaged underwear (size 2T-6 requested) and socks (for under 6 year olds) with you to this event; all donations benefit the school. If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to donate, please contact [email protected].
