About this event Are you the owner of a local black-owned business? Do you know someone who is? This event is tailored for you, join us! We welcome all supportive members of Northwest Arkansas's beautiful community to join us for a business expo and trade show that is one of a kind. This event is being brought to you by Black-Owned NW Arkansas in collaboration with Blackground Agency at Theater Squared in Fayetteville, Arkansas. All are welcome to attend and support local Black-owned businesses by engaging with and purchasing products/services during this event. We hope you and your family join us in celebration of August being National Black-Owned Business Month. **PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE NOTES BELOW** BLACK OWNED NWA EXPO VENDOR APPLICATION This form is for VENDOR REGISTRATION ONLY! Attendee and Volunteer registration will launch by August 1st, please stay tuned! -Vendor application Deadline is Thursday, July 28th at midnight. All vendor fees include a REFUNDABLE $20 once table cloths are returned. Businesses who are not approved to be a vendor will be fully refunded upon notice. -Acceptance/Denial Emails will be sent out within 1 week after close of applications. -Spaces are 8' X 10' (Need more space ? Contact us for options [email protected]) -In an attempt to be fair across all business, we are not accepting applications from Network Marketing (MLM) sales people. No strong political affiliates or campaign vendors will be allowed. Vendors slots are limited and subject to approval, registration for vendors WILL CLOSE at 12 AM Thursday July 28th. This vendor fee secures your spot located in theater squared and/or nearby venues within the evening market experience, including 1 table, 2 chairs and 1 table cloth ($20 refunded upon cloth return). Businesses that are not approved to be a vendor will be fully refunded upon notice. You are expected to ARRIVE ON-TIME, bring your own products, promotional materials and transaction devices. Electric power and wi-fi access may be available upon request in the registration form. You are encouraged to wear a mask (optional), bring your own fans, power cords, hot spots, Stripe, CashApp, laptops, photographers, etc., to aid with processing & recording sales. All approved vendors agree to a timely arrival (and will be expected to communicate any delays) or they will risk rejection and forfeit their vendor table. All vendors agree to manage their own clean up, table, cloth and chair rental return, and tax form completion to avoid fees and penalties. 8' x 10' Booth Fees: For Profit Business: $120 with $20 deposit refunded upon return of table cloth Non-Profit Business: $60 with $20 deposit refunded upon return of table cloth Select your business status in this registration form to secure a table and participate in the event. Date: Saturday, August 20, 2022 Location: Theater Squared, 477 W Spring St, Fayetteville, AR 72701 Time: 9 AM - 4 PM Both upon entry into the venue, ALL attendees may be prompted and subject to complete a questionnaire and/or temperature reading to confirm that they have not previously been exposed to anyone exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms in the past 14 days. Any attendee with severe cough, sore throat, fever, or shortness of breath may be immediately asked to remove themselves from the venue, NO EXCEPTIONS.
