The White House issued an Executive Order HBCU White House Initiative on advancing educational equity, excellence and economic opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). In support of this initiative, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) invites you to participate in our Southeast Region Hiring Initiative’s Summer Summits. The purpose of these events is to promote current DOL job/internship opportunities and develop sustainable relationships with HBCUs. We are interested in partnering with faculty, career services professionals, and students to gather input for new training, career mentorship, internship programs, and long-term career opportunities.
