JOIN US! While vision is developmental, concussions and TBIs can regress certain visual skills and in many cases, these visual skills can be rehabilitated. We invite you to attend our informative workshop on treating concussion and TBI patients' vision. Take a tour of our optometric vision therapy practice, try the equipment and meet your local, board-certified and residency-trained neuro-optometrist, Neil Renaud, OD, FAAO, FCOVD. At this event, you'll learn visual signs and symptoms that may be hindering your patients' recovery. We'll discuss ways that an evaluation or vision therapy could help their recovery. You will also learn about our 3-step evaluation process and what to expect if you refer your patient for vision therapy. New to Vision Therapy? Vision therapy is a treatment to build or rehabilitate the visual pathways to the brain. It addresses visual skills like eye teaming, eye focusing, tracking, reading eye movements, depth perception, visual information processing, and visual-motor integration, just to name a few. A brain injury can cause a vision injury, where these neuro-visual pathways are damaged and not functioning properly with efficiency and comfort. Can't make the event?
