Description
Summary Receives product and inspects items to ensure conformance to specifications. Responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and in compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspects and verifies counts on all items received for the daily receiving reports required. Reads Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Certificate of Conformities (CoC) and/or product specifications to obtain product information. Measures dimensions such as length and height to ensure product meets specifications, if applicable. Match up receivables to Purchase orders (PO) and coordinate with purchasing department for any discrepancies. Unloads products from trucks. Inspects materials as they are unloaded. Uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping to work area. Identifies hazardous materials, packages and labels on incoming product accordingly. Reports and investigates any damaged product. Identifies and records any non-conforming issue using non-conforming Report and system. Label all incoming items with current status (approved, NCR, QC inspection) and ensure database reflects assigned status. Ensures the status of received products is clear and correct. Responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and in compliance. Keeps inventory records of general supply updated and accurate, places new orders as appropriate. Posts receivables to ERP database. Responsible for performing weekly safety inspections. Active member of the Safety Committee. Defrost, maintenance and calibration of the freezers and fridges. Responsible for temperature monitoring systems dataloggers are charged functioning correctly. Scanning out all empty chemical bottles and removing them from inventory. Reviews and writes SOPs for areas of responsibilities. Assists with related special projects and duties, as required. Qualifications High school and/or technical school diploma or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Understanding of quality standards Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment Familiar with mechanical drawings Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Certificate of Conformities (CoC) and/or product specifications.
