Rehoming our 2 year old standard poodle. Really hate having to do this and have been holding this off for far too long. He’s been with us since he was a baby and he’s genuinely apart of the family but unfortunately he has just become too sad and depressed with our schedules. Also isn’t fair to keep him cooped up in an apartment all day while we’re at work so preferably a home with a large fenced in yard he can romp around in. He’s a very mellow dog but has short spirts of energy just like any young dog does. He’s great for runs but won’t run too far as he gets pretty lazy. He loves to be with the family at all times. Sleeps in bed with us (but also doesn’t mind his kennel if he’s taking up too much space) and does great being left out in the home while you’re away as long as nothing is left out he can get to. He is extremely affectionate and loves neck snuggles and kisses. He is very much a Velcro dog. He doesn’t do too well with other pets but it’s more of a nervous thing rather than aggressive but would prefer him to go to a home without other pets. He is also very unfamiliar with small children as we don’t have kids so preferably someone with older kiddos. He is up to date on vaccines and is a very healthy guy.
