Job Store Staffing is seeking a packaging operator for a probiotic company in the Lafayette area. Pay: $18.00/hr Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM KEY JOB DUTIES Checking in material for bottling runs using bottling pull sheet. Reconciling bottling runs using bottling pull sheet. Setting up and operating the following equipment: bottle unscrambler, desiccant inserter, slat counter machine, and cotton inserter. Setting up and operating the metal detector, capper, and heat induction sealer. Setting up and operating the labeler, neck banding machine, and check weigher. Perform all in-process quality control checks during packaging runs. Able to perform some maintenance on the packaging equipment. Clean machinery and equipment in a safe manner, able to perform lockout/tagout on equipment. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Operator, production, and manufacturing experience a huge plus! Maintain good attendance. Ability to effectively communicate (speak, write and understand) in English with the department and company as needed.
