Description

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Ironworkers. Competitive pay and benefits. Jobs are in and around the Denver Metro Area. • Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions • Unload and stack steel • Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slings • Align structural steel vertically and horizontally, using tag lines, plumb bobs, lasers, and levels • Connect steel columns, beams, and girders with bolts or welds • Use welding equipment, torch, and or grinder to cut, bend, and weld the structural steel • Erect steel frames • Rig steel for erection with crane • Signal crane operators who lift and position structural steel • Hoist steel into place in the framework • Position steel with connecting bars and spud wrenches • Work with drift pins to align the holes in the steel with the framework holes • Use plumb bobs, levels and laser equipment to check alignment • Bolt or weld piece in to place • Make sure all pieces are fitted properly and complete repairs as necessary • Attend training sessions, seminars, and appropriate educational classes required by company. • Other duties as assigned
