IRREFUTABLE HALLMARKS OF CORRUPTION

My fellow Americans - if we are to have a fair debate or meaningful discussion, so that we know what we are voting about, shouldn't there be certain rules and consistent guidelines in-place so that we can judge properly what we are hearing, seeing and discussing ? And along with these rules and guidelines - what if we had standards as well that would help identify political actions that are universally judged as corrupt ? Actions that naturally indicate deception or show controlling tendencies, what if we could agree on those universal indicators of destructive and illegitimate administrations ? Wouldn't that be best ? *** Question number one - do you think double standards, hypocrisy and unequal justice are signs of a corrupt system ? What if your party does not practice what they preach - what if they are more guilty than the ones they point their fingers at ? Does an honest person advocate that ? *** Question number two - when you see individuals that practice denial or deflection and pretend they are "oblivious" or "unaware" about issues that are damaging to their position - isn't that a deal-breaker when you witness these lame tactics ? Don't you think to yourself "yeah, right - you lost all credibility" by seeing them act that way ? *** Question number three - If you see increasing censorship and the muzzling of alternate voices - isn't that how oppressive regimes control the people by keeping them unaware and uneducated ? Like they do in third-world countries and corrupt organizations - they feed you bullshit and keep you in the dark - isn't that a definite sign of corruption as well ? *** Question number four - What if you witness first-hand media bias ? Just like the news in a Banana Republic, what if you see state-sponsored news (propaganda) that reflects what they want you to hear - but not what you need to know about to make logical decisions - isn't that corruption as well ? *** Question number five - what do you conclude when you see others intentionally project their sins onto you so they can escape proper scrutiny and hide from their guilt at your expense ? Isn't that THE worst form of abuse there is, blaming the innocent while you are the guilty one ? *** Final question - if you see your party guilty of these actions (genuinely more that the other party) and you support them anyways - - - DOESN'T THAT MAKE YOU CORRUPT AS WELL ????
