We have an immediate opening for an RV technician/Shop helper at our established shop in Caldwell, Idaho. Full time (40 hours per week), Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm (hour lunch). Competitive Pay: Entry level (0-1 years): $20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE Experienced technicians (2+ years) : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE Plus paid time off (PTO): Major holidays, one week paid vacation after one year of employment) About Us: We are a small family business and that's part of what makes our business awesome! Our shop does most RV repairs (but we do not do any engine/chassis repair). We also perform body/collision work. Position Duties: Diagnosing RV issues including electrical, LP and water systems, plumbing, and appliances. Repairs including but not limited to minor electrical work, resealing body/roof seams, winterizing/de-winterizing, etc. Removing and replacing broken RV components Light paperwork (writing down notes as you do the repairs, and clocking the amount of time you spend on a job) Communicating in a clear and friendly way with coworkers (this is not a customer-facing position) Must be able to lift 30+ pounds, knowledge of power tools, work on ladders, and roofs, stand for the duration of the workday, and crawl/bend/work in small spaces We are willing to train the right person, which is a great way to get your foot in the door and build a career without having to shell out money for trade school.
