We a looking for a self starter with ability to multi task. Position requires a candidate who is trust worthy and needs little to no supervision. Someone who will take ownership of work. Candidate will order and obtain parts and supplies related to job. Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines, Small engines, Hydraulics and Electronics are necessary for success in this position. Hours range from 45-60 a week. Typically Mon-Fri with optional Sat. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: * Ordering and securing parts, supplies and certain equipment. * Maintaining and servicing, repairing trucks, trailers and equipment of various types. * Unloading, loading and delivering materials. * Unloading, loading and delivering various equipment and/or implements. * Pulling trailers and backing trailers (no cdl required). * Tracking and keeping records of repairs, state inspections and service intervals on all trucks and equipment. Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED, * Good ability to communicate both orally and in writing * Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area and help with the Shop's cleanliness * Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers. * Ability to work within set time parameters * Must have mechanical background and experience * Have entry level welding and basic fabrication skills. * Must be able to continually lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. * Must have valid drivers license, and clean driving record. * Must have entry level equipment operating skills * Basic forklift, loader or skid steer experience. * Small engine experience, i.e. blowers, chainsaws, water pumps * Knowledge and ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
