FOUND DOG

Found running Monday, July 11, 2022. Small (17 lbs.) dark brown dog, part Dachshund (long body, short legs, smooth coat). No collar, no chip. He's friendly, energetic, full grown but not aged. And boy, can he run fast on those little legs. Front legs turn out a bit. Regular tail. He was found in my complex, a gated community in Central Tucson, but could have come from anywhere. Definitely a pet, as he's very familiar with being indoors. No one in my complex knows him, and so far, no owner responses to posts on Nextdoor, HSSAz, PACC, Tucson Lost and Found Pets, etc. Would really like to get him back home, but cannot keep him as the dog who owns me does not want to share me. Housebroken, has not had one accident inside since I brought him home, but doesn't seem to know basic commands.
