Where are the Country players?

Radio stations like WQYK and WFUS consistently rank in the top 10 among stations that do not follow a talk format. Artists like Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan routinely sell out their shows whenever they're in town. Clearly, there's a demand for this kind of music, so where are all the Country bands? With all due respect to artists like Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, have musical tastes really not evolved in the Tampa Bay area over the last 40+ years? Yeah, I realize CL probably isn't the best place to find diverse opinions. I'm just curious if anyone else has wondered the same thing.
