Description
We have an older shingled roof, with no issues yet, that needs to be replaced before the end of summer. After getting expensive estimates from popular roofing companies, I am so close to wanting to just do it myself, but hesitate because I know it would take me longer than someone more experienced.
I have done some roofing work before, so I have some understanding of what it takes and what a fair price is for the hard work that it requires.
I'm reaching out to the CL community to find those capable of replacing a 2,000 sqft roof with a 5/12 pitch. If you or your company is interested, please send me your phone number with a rough estimate on what it would it should cost in materials and labor, and whether or not you're insured.
Here's what I believe to be involved, but I might be missing some key considerations:
-Old roof removal, cleanup and disposal
-Some plywood replacement
-New drip edge
-New roof underlayment
-Chimney counter flashing
-New vent flashing
-New valley flashing
-New shingles
Thank you for your consideration.
