WHAT WE OFFER YOU: ● Competitive base pay of $22-$24 per hour DOE ● Full benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), etc ● Vacation + Paid Sick Time ● Stability of working in an essential and recession-resistant industry DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Approach the job daily with a safety-first mentality while always operating truck/trailer safely and lawfully ● Moves trucks and trailers for receiving when needed ● Moves trucks and trailers as needed to complete the loading process ● Arranges trucks and trailers on the yard in an orderly and efficient manner ● Deliver and pick up debris trailers, portable toilets, and returnable materials as directed by management from job sites in varying locations around Guardian’s service area ● Make frequent drops at area dumps ● Ability to make determinations of recyclable, versus non-recyclable materials to ensure proper disposal of job site waste ● Safe operation of equipment provided to safely haul loads (for example, forklift, dock plates or load bars and straps) ● Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible ● Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business ● Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public ● Warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, and picking material QUALIFICATIONS: ● 3+ years of experience in a driving role with 3 years clean driving record- copy of driving record required ● Valid driver’s license or higher ● Current Forklift Certification ● OSHA 10 and First Aid Certification is a plus ● Experience in roofing (or other construction fields) would be valuable ● Ability to manage high volume workload with competing and changing priorities ● Intermediate level of computer proficiency PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ● Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English ● Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at times ● Must be able to drive up to 100 miles per day ● Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: ● Results-Oriented – links decisions to overall business objectives ● Emotional Intelligence – Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy, Social Skills ● High Energy – driven to seek continuous improvement ● Decisive– track record of making and implementing sound strategic decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment ● Gritty – has a stick-to-it nature that compels others to strive to perform at their best LOCATION: Auburn, WA If you think you'd be a great fit for this position, please use the link below to apply!
