Description
The Maintenance Technician is an hourly position with the general work week of Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day; on-call as needed.
Skill & Qualifications
2+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training is required
Familiarity with Washington State Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful
Must be able to lift 90 lbs
Must have tools, reliable transportation, current WSDL
Duties
Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting.
Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including but not limited to: minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall and cleaning.
Address and follow up as necessary on all residents' work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform walk through of property as needed to ensure that immediate maintenance and custodial issues are attended to in a timely fashion. Walk through inspections should also include preventative maintenance to safeguard against foreseeable maintenance issues.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties.
Some custodial duties may also be required including but not limited to; trash pick-up and removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, pressure washing and other various cleaning tasks.
Maintains grounds, pools/ hot tubs, common areas to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents.
Performs all job duties in a timely manner.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.
Must pass criminal background and drug screening.
