A luxury property management company has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. This person will work with the Maintenance and Operations departments to improve and protect the appearance of properties and estates through regular preventive maintenance, cleaning, light repairs, and assisting with assigned tasks. This position may require work in polishing and protecting of exterior metals, cleaning of exterior wood facades, maintaining the general exterior appearance of properties and estates, or other maintenance tasks as assigned. This position will include travel along the Orange County coastline - From San Clemente to Newport Beach. Candidates will need reliable transportation to be available to work This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with pay starting at $20 to $21/hour. The hours are Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p with occasional evening and/or weekend projects (40 hours per week). Maintenance Technician Qualifications: * Must possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean/reliable transportation to get to various job locations. * Ability to effectively communicate verbal and written information with clients, vendors, and team members. * Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. * Ability to lift and/or carry at least 60lbs. Maintenance Technician Duties: * Polishing and cleaning fine interior and exterior finishes to include stainless steel, natural stone, bronze, brass, wood, light fixtures, etc. * Helping to maintain the cleanliness of exterior living areas by use of mops, brooms, power washers, blowers, window washing equipment, etc. * Preparing materials and supplies by unwrapping, laying out, sorting, cutting mixing, etc. * Helping other skilled personnel by placing and holding components, parts, and materials * Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by cleaning up after jobs are completed * Learning job techniques by working with skilled personnel, participating in training, and following direction * Accomplishing maintenance through an organized and tidy environment by completing tasks as needed Benefits (once hired by the company): 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Local South Orange County residents are encouraged to apply.
