NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a Canby Operated Plastic Injection Molding company that creates productions to be used during the construction process. POSITION DESCRIPTION Swap out the molds in the machine that make the parts that will be manufactured. Maintain and monitor the quality of parts being prepared for shipment, determine processing parameters of various tools, possess the ability to identify problems and address them accordingly. Duties: Swap out the tools in the molding machine that make the parts that will be manufactured (the actual molds). Set-up raw materials, clean hoppers, dryers and prep tools for production and have knowledge on how to safely operate additional equipment such as hoist, grinders, sanders, and other hand tools, etc. Perform quality control checks on product during the production process in order to ensure that product specifications and standards are met. Operate machines and package finished product when/if needed or perform special processes as required by Production Supervisor. Requirements: Lifting up to 40lbs occasionally, standing/bending/stooping/walking for duration of shift. Average visual acuity necessary due to reading and close-up vision inspection required. Must be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot Forklift ability a plus.
